Description
Shadowy deaths have long made Grayrton Mire a place of gruesome legend. But when a vulnerable boy is charged with the latest killing, Banyard and Mingle brave the treacherous marshes to defend him.
Can they save the boy and discover who – or what – lies behind the sinister legend?
The Shadow of Grayrton Mire is the third in the Banyard and Mingle post-apocalyptic mystery series by B J Mears.
Mears has done for post-apocalyptic fiction what C J Sansom’s Shardlake did for historical fiction. It is an intriguing mystery, set against a backdrop every bit as convincing and mysterious as Robert Harris’s Second Sleep. The storytelling is compelling, and the characters draw the reader into the story which builds to a climax that is both satisfying and leaves you wanting more. I am already eagerly awaiting the next instalment.

2022-05-10Just recently I ordered a Adria door waste bin which was delivered safely and quickly then a week later the table bracket broke so placed the order and yes it was well packaged and arrived safe and sound The only downside was the price of the postage for a item that weighed less than a kilo The price was £7.99 which I thought was a bit too high I would consider using another carrier like dpd Thank for your serviceCarole Scrimgeour
